Dental Assistant

Overview

Mid America Health is seeking a full-time Portable Dental Assistant to join the School Smiles team. This position is 5 days per week (Monday – Friday, during school hours) based in the Cincinnati, OH area (within a 2-hour radius) and involves providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This role is a fall start with an August start date and is suited for a Dental Assistant seeking a low-stress opportunity outside of a private practice setting.

• Maintain portable equipment and supplies; keep the company van in good condition at all times.
• Assist the dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed.
• Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory inside the school.
• Perform various administrative duties as assigned.

• Current Ohio X-ray License is required.
• Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required.
• 1 year of Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.
