Job Overview
Mid America Health is currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our School Smiles team. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday during school hours, based in the Cincinnati, OH area within a 2-hour radius. The start date will be August for a fall start.
Benefits- Hourly rate of $27.00 per hour for clinic hours and drive time.
- No weekend hours.
- Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k), generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and health savings account.
- Company vehicle with gas and maintenance card.
- Maintain portable equipment and supplies, including company van.
- Assist the dentist in portable operatory set-up inside schools and perform chairside procedures as needed.
- Load, unload, and set up the dental operatory inside the school.
- Perform various administrative duties.
- Active Ohio X-ray license (required).
- Current CPR certification for healthcare providers (required).
- One year of Dental Assistant experience preferred.
- Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius.
