We are seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join a dedicated dental team.
In this role, you will
- assist the dentist during various treatments
- perform expanded functions such as restorative procedures, coronal polishing, and sealant placement
- prepare treatment rooms and instruments
- provide chairside support
- take and develop radiographs
- maintain accurate patient records
- ensure infection control compliance
- educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, punctual, team-oriented
- Open Dental experience and proficiency in dental terminology and procedures
- Ohio EFDA and X-ray certification, CPR certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Compensation
