Role Overview
Seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide quality dental care in diverse communities, with opportunities for student loan repayment through the NHSC Loan Repayment Program. The position offers a competitive salary and the chance to assist underserved populations.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate patient intake, prepare operatory, and facilitate patient flow.
- Perform adult and pediatric prophylaxis.
- Take vital signs and radiographs, including panorex, bitewings, and periapicals.
- Conduct preliminary exams, chart dental decay, and assess oral health.
- Complete root planning, scaling, fluoride applications, sealants, and recall procedures.
- Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental hygiene program.
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist by the Ohio Board of Dental Examiners.
- 1-2 years of dental experience preferred.
