We are looking for an experienced Project Architect / Senior Architectural Designer with 5–8 years of experience in multifamily and retail design. This individual will play a key role in leading project teams, managing technical documentation, and overseeing construction coordination. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a keen eye for design. Proficiency in Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design development and production of architectural drawings for multifamily and retail projects.
  • Oversee and review construction documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain design integrity and project goals.
  • Manage project schedules, milestones, and deliverables while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in construction administration, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and construction methods to optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management.
  • Expertise in Revit, Sketch Up, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). (Enscape, Rhino and Grasshopper a plus)
  • Strong understanding of multifamily and retail design, documentation, and construction.
  • Knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, zoning, and permitting processes.
  • Excellent project coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
