TOPPAN Packaging Americas specializes in designing and manufacturing sustainable, high-performance flexible and thermoformed packaging solutions for the food, beverage, medical and consumer goods industries. We offer products such as transparent high barrier films, pouches, clamshells and trays, utilizing advanced technology to enhance product safety, visibility and environmental sustainability. TOPPAN Packaging Americas operates as part of the global TOPPAN group, with 22 manufacturing facilities across North America, Latin America and Europe.

As a division of TOPPAN Packaging Americas—Trident—our team creates digital packaging assets for some of the most recognizable brands in the world. This dynamic, innovative team works with FMCG brands to prepare packaging artworks for mass print production, while continuously developing cutting‑edge technologies and powerful systems to deliver the highest quality service.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and collaborative Mid to Senior Designer to join our team. The Senior Designer will create unique and ownable designs that reflect the objectives of the creative brief while maintaining the strategic foundation of our clients’ brands. Working closely with the creative leader, the designer evaluates design options, delivers thoughtful creative executions, and collaborates with internal Trident functions from project kick‑off to completion.

• Create designs for multiple projects and brands.
• Participate in brand or category audits.
• Communicate with Account Management daily to manage project assignments.
• Complete revisions or implement designs for multiple projects and brands.
• Apply knowledge of the production process and play an active role in production file preparation.
• Complete projects from milestone to milestone and ensure quality deliverables.
• Play an active role in the Trident Quality Control protocol.
• Effectively communicate with clients and confidently present work to peers and clients.
• Contribute to training and education initiatives.
• Support the account team in consulting clients on creative work.
• Assist in marketing and promotion of our services.
• Support internal functions to maintain a high level of integrity in our creative output.

• Strong understanding of consumer brands and branding.
• Package design experience in the CPG space.
• Understanding of package design, designing for a system, and package architecture.
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain proper file protocols.
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable creative programs.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Hybrid position located out of Cincinnati, OH Office.
