The Project Architect is responsible for the technical development, coordination, and execution of architectural projects from schematic design through construction administration. This role serves as the primary technical leader for assigned projects, ensuring design intent, code compliance, quality standards, and project delivery objectives are achieved. The Project Architect collaborates closely with clients, consultants, project managers, and internal design teams while utilizing Revit as the primary BIM platform for project development and documentation.
Responsibilities- Lead the technical development and execution of architectural projects from design through construction.
- Coordinate project teams, consultants, clients, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Prepare, review, and oversee architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Ensure projects comply with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry standards.
- Utilize Revit as the primary BIM platform for project design, modeling, and documentation.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate BIM models with structural, MEP, and specialty consultants.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and constructability of project documents.
- Support project scheduling, planning, and resource coordination.
- Promote and maintain company BIM, drafting, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 2-3+ years of architectural experience with increasing project responsibility.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit (required).
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and detailing.
- Thorough understanding of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry regulations.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills.
