Structural Design Technician

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural Design Technician to join their team in Cincinnati, OH. This role will support structural design and drafting activities for a variety of projects and will work closely with department members, project teams, and management to develop accurate and coordinated design deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have strong structural drafting and design experience, hands-on proficiency with Revit, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment.

• Perform 3D structural modeling using Revit.
• Assist with the creation and development of contract drawings.
• Support structural design and drafting activities for a variety of projects.
• Work with project team members to coordinate design information and deliverables.
• Maintain effective communication with department members, project teams, and higher management.
• Review drawings and design documents for accuracy, completeness, and coordination.
• Utilize software tools such as Navisworks and Bluebeam to support design coordination and document review.
• Assist with structural design documentation involving traditional steel and concrete structures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of structural drafting and/or design experience.
• At least 1 year of experience using Revit.
• Experience with traditional steel and concrete structures.
• Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
• Experience with light manufacturing facility design is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
