Medical Director - OB​/GYN

Position Overview:

OB/GYN Medical Director

The OB/GYN Medical Director is responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical care, encompassing outpatient services, surgical procedures, and maternal deliveries. In addition to clinical duties, the role entails spearheading the clinical and strategic advancement of the Women's Health program.

• Driving program development and strategic growth initiatives for the Women's Health service line on the east side of Cincinnati.
• Collaborating with executive leaders and interdisciplinary teams to optimize quality metrics, enhance patient satisfaction, and foster service line growth.
• Mentoring and supporting physicians and advanced practice providers to cultivate a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Engaging closely with certified nurse‑midwives and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists from the University of Cincinnati.
• Adhering to a balanced work schedule (Monday–Friday), which includes designated leadership time dedicated to administrative responsibilities.
• Participating in a call rotation structure of 1:6.

• Must hold Board Certification in OB/GYN (mandatory).
• An active Ohio medical license is required (or the willingness to acquire one).
• A minimum of five years of experience in OB/GYN practice is necessary (mandatory).
• Leadership experience is highly preferred.
• A clean history regarding malpractice claims and medical licensure is also highly preferred.

• Board Certification in OB/GYN.

• Active medical license in Ohio.

• Minimum five years of OB/GYN experience is required, with a preference for candidates with leadership and administrative experience.
