The OpportunityWe’re seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide meaningful care to geriatric patients. This is a perfect fit for an OD looking to supplement their schedule, earn additional income, and make a direct impact on an underserved population — without any admin burden.

What You’ll Do- Perform comprehensive eye exams for seniors and underserved populations
- Diagnose and manage a range of ocular conditions
- Prescribe lenses and collaborate with facility staff to support patient needs
- Provide education on preventive eye care and condition management
- Create a respectful, comfortable, and patient-centered environment
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
- Active Kentucky Optometry license
- Experience with geriatric or mobile care is preferred
- Strong communication skills and a warm, empathetic approach
- Ability to work independently in facility-based environments
- 1–2 days per month
- Weekday flexibility
- Standard 8-hour day, typically 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (No weekends)
