Job Overview
The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Dermatology is seeking a Clinical Faculty member for clinical care in a professional practice setting, as well as teaching of resident providers in clinic and inpatient settings. Rank is commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions- Patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, outpatient clinic, in-office procedures, and on-call coverage.
- Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the Department and College by supporting the University’s commitment to excellence in students, faculty, staff and all activities.
- Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as students, residents and fellows.
- Active role in departmental fellowship programs and resident teaching (e.g., evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, completing required evaluations), and presentations at local, regional and national levels.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD), D.O. or an equivalent degree from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Completed an accredited Dermatology Residency.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Ohio State Medical License.
- Past track record of academic excellence and relevant clinical experience in Dermatology is preferred.
- Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology.
- Completed a Mohs Surgery fellowship.
