Job OverviewAs one of the oldest medical schools in the country, the UC College of Medicine has a reputation for training best‑in‑class health care professionals and developing cutting‑edge procedures and research that improve the health and clinical care of patients. The Primary Care Network consists of 15 clinical sites caring for more than 100,000 patients across the Cincinnati Tri‑State region. Affiliation with the University of Cincinnati Physicians means immediate access to tertiary specialists who treat the most complex medical conditions.
The Primary Care Network is committed to patient‑centered medical care, innovation, and education that inspires the next generation of healthcare professionals. The Department of Family Medicine is in search of a Family Medicine physician with OB training and a passion for resident education to join our practice in West Chester, Ohio (7798 Discovery Drive, West Chester, OH 45069).
- Diagnose diseases or study medical conditions using techniques such as gross pathology, histology, cytology, cytopathology, clinical chemistry, immunology, flow cytometry, and molecular biology.
- Write reports summarizing analyses, results, and conclusions.
- Identify the etiology, pathogenesis, morphological change, and clinical significance of diseases.
- Analyze and interpret results from tests.
- Document findings, plan, and actions taken according to departmental guidelines and standards.
- Maintain a working knowledge of relevant medical/legal issues that impact on patient care.
- Maintain records and statistics in accordance with department policies.
- Attend and participate in staff, committee, department, and other administrative meetings.
- Participate in department's continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Provide education to other health care professionals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Completion of a 3‑year residency program in Family Medicine.
- Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
- Board certified or board eligible in Family Medicine.
- Active DEA license.
