Cytopathologist / Surgical Pathologist, COM Pathology & Laboratory Medicine
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Cincinnati (UC) is searching for two (2) academic Cytopathologist/Surgical Pathologists. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with experience.
Essential Functions:
- Teach Pathology residents, fellows, and medical students.
- Participate in translational research.
- Support expanding Cytology and Surgical Pathology services.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Medical degree (M.D. or equivalent).
- Completion of a three-year Anatomic Pathology or four-year Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency program.
- Board-certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
- Completion of 12-month fellowship training or at least 12 months experience in Cytopathology.
- Licensure by the State of Ohio Medical Board.
Additional Qualifications Considered:
- Training or experience in Gastrointestinal Pathology or Molecular pathology is ideal.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
