Locum Physician – Neurology in Cincinnati, OH
A hospital-based neurology locum opportunity is available in Cincinnati, Ohio due to the unexpected departure of a provider. The facility is seeking additional neurologists to help cover scheduling gaps through approximately September or October.
Practice Highlights:
- 100% inpatient neurology practice
- Adult patient population only
- 10–20+ hospital patients per day
- 2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers in the group
- Lab and X-Ray available onsite
- EMR: EPIC
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neurology
- Active Ohio license or IMLC
- ACLS certification required
- Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges
- NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at submission
- Must confirm availability for listed dates and potential coverage through Sept/Oct
Schedule & Coverage:
- Coverage Dates:
June 29 (8 AM) – July 12 (6 PM) - Additional coverage needs through September/October
- Hospital inpatient coverage
Required Procedures:
- Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
- Thrombolytic therapy
- EEG and EMG interpretation
- Brain death examinations
