Position Overview

Dates of Coverage: Immediate start date required

Schedule: Two potential shifts: 7 AM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 7 AM, with an obligation to complete the entire 12-hour shift. Flexibility to work multiple consecutive 24-hour shifts is available.

Call Coverage: Yes

Call Type: GYN call for Emergency Department and Beeper/Phone calls

Call Ratio: 100% while on shift

Patient Population: Obstetrics and Gynecology

Care Setting: 100% inpatient and emergency department

Average Patient Load: 0-6 patients per day

Trauma Level Designation: No trauma designation

• Perform OB vaginal deliveries and C-sections
• Conduct emergent surgical procedures
• Provide GYN coverage for the Emergency Department
• Participate in practice calls for the outpatient department (HOPD)
• Daily patient rounds and discharges
• Collaborate with midwives for patient support

EMR System: Epic (specifically, Stork module)

Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 4 months

Temporary Privileges: Available on a case-by-case basis
