Job Overview
Two full‑time faculty positions are available in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Nephrology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (COM). The positions call for assistant professors of clinical medicine who will contribute to the division’s clinical, research, and teaching missions and serve in both transplant and general nephrology practice. The role offers training opportunities in transplantation, dialysis, quality improvement, and patient safety.
EssentialFunctions
- Contribute to clinical, patient‑care, research, and teaching missions of the division, including transplant and general nephrology practice.
- Participate in departmental fellowship programs, resident, and medical‑student teaching.
- Precept fellows, medical students, and residents in an office‑based practice and provide lectures or lead small‑group discussions as part of COM or residency curricula, clinical case conferences, core curricula, and journal clubs.
- Other duties as assigned.
- MD or equivalent medical degree.
- Ohio medical license.
- Completion of a three‑year Internal Medicine residency.
- Completion of a two‑year nephrology fellowship program.
- Office environment; no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
