Job Overview
University of Cincinnati College of Medicine invites junior, mid‑career, and senior‑level nuclear medicine physicians to fill a full‑time faculty position in the Department of Radiology. The role involves clinical interpretation of general nuclear, nuclear cardiac, hybrid PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and DEXA studies, administration of therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, and participation in multidisciplinary conferences and educational activities. Candidates will have regular daytime coverage and weekend/holiday remote call.
Responsibilities- Interpret general nuclear, nuclear cardiac, hybrid molecular imaging (PET/CT, SPECT/CT), and DEXA studies.
- Administer therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals (I‑131, Ra‑223, Lu‑177, Y‑90, etc.).
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the Nuclear Medicine section.
- Participate in nuclear medicine weekend and holiday on‑call coverage.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and tumor boards.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Engage in departmental educational activities and academic committees.
- MD, DO, or MD‑PhD (or equivalent for international applicants).
- Valid Ohio license.
- Board certified (or board eligible) by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
- Fellowship training in Nuclear Medicine / Nuclear Radiology (ABNM or A CAQ).
- International Medical Graduates encouraged—must hold:
- Valid ECFMG certification.
- Board certified or eligible through the A IMG Alternate Pathway Program.
- Office environment; no unusual physical or environmental demands.
