At Cincinnati Ballet, the Academy Director serves as the artistic and pedagogical leader of the Otto M. Budig Academy, one of the nation’s premier dance education institutions. This role blends high-level teaching, visionary leadership, and deep mentorship, overseeing curriculum, faculty development, and student progress across all divisions. Directly reporting to The Katherine and Richard Rosenthal Artistic Director Cerviol Amador, the Academy Director shapes innovative training pathways for both aspiring professionals and recreational dancers, champions inclusive and student-centered learning, and helps grow the Academy’s national reputation.
