About Romero AcademiesRomero Academies is a Catholic school network located in Cincinnati, Ohio operated by Seton Education Partners. We have two campuses - Romero Academy at Resurrection in Price Hill and Romero Academy at Annunciation in Clifton. Romero Academies invests in its staff through weekly coaching meetings, frequent professional development, and competitive compensation. Additionally, all teachers receive a classroom spending account and 90 minutes of daily prep time.
Our school buildings received over $1 million in renovations within the past five years. Inspired by the words of St. Oscar Romero, our students will “aspire not to have more, but to be more,” and develop the virtue, knowledge, and academic skills necessary to thrive in a selective college preparatory high school, college, and beyond.
Romero Academies' teachers partner with families to form future saints by developing the intellect, cultivating the character, and engaging the faith of each scholar. Responsibilities- Internalizing and executing rigorous lesson plans while differentiating to meet the learning needs of all students.
- Creating and maintaining a learning environment where every scholar feels safe, loved, and inspired to learn and grow.
- Supporting a school culture focused on faith, academic achievement, and character development.
- Partnering with families, a dedication to serve all students, and a willingness to seek and implement feedback for professional growth.
- Internalize, individualize, and execute lesson plans in assigned content areas.
- Teach targeted lessons to small groups within a rotational model of blended learning.
- Lead instruction using a rigorous curriculum that inspires intellectual curiosity, reinforces the joy of learning, and enables all students to thrive.
- Teach all lessons with rigor, joy, and urgency.
- Engage in an ongoing data-driven cycle of assessment, analysis, and action.
- Achieve meaningful student achievement and growth results aligned to the school s mission and annual goals.
- Implement school-wide systems for academics, culture, and character development.
- Connect with families through frequent phone calls, emails, conferences, and notes.
- Develop meaningful relationships with students and parents that drive students to love learning and make exceptional academic gains.
- Participate in two weeks of summer training prior to the school s opening.
- Engage in ongoing professional development.
- Commit to teach an extended school year (mid-August through mid-June).
- Help students develop a personal relationship with Christ.
Candidates for the position must possess the following personal characteristics:

The ideal candidate will bring experience, skills, and beliefs in the following areas:
- Living as a faith-filled and practicing Catholic who understands and honors the teachings of the Catholic Church and is passionate about sharing the Catholic faith
- At a minimum, a bachelor’s degree, teaching certification, and a desire to help students grow in faith, virtue, and intellect
