The Cincinnati Waldorf School is seeking a Lead Teacher in one of our mixed-age Kindergarten classrooms for the 2026-27 school year.
AboutThe Cincinnati Waldorf School is a well‑established, AWSNA/WECAN full member school. Our current enrollment is at its highest level and represents a wide diversity across neighborhoods, economics, ethnicity, and lifestyle. Our strong programming includes Parent & Child classes, Preschool, Kindergarten, Grades 1-12, Eurythmy, Mandarin, American Sign Language, Spanish, Handwork, Games, Gardening, Woodwork, Strings, and Choral.
The ideal candidate will have experience with young children aged 3-6, a confident classroom presence, strong social and communication skills, and a love for children and teaching. Our Early Childhood teachers enjoy being outdoors with the children in all safe weather conditions. The candidate will be expected to embrace collaboration with colleagues. Experience and active interest in a play‑and‑nature‑based curriculum reflecting our diverse community will be vital to success.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have completed, or be currently enrolled in, a Waldorf Early Childhood training at a WECAN-accredited teacher preparation program and have Waldorf Early Childhood teaching experience. We are willing to work with the right candidate who lacks this experience but is willing to pursue training in Waldorf pedagogy.
This is a full‑time, salaried position with benefits, including tuition remission.
