Good Samaritan College is seeking a dedicated nursing professional to lead skills labs and clinicals for student nurses at the foundation level (First Nursing course). Strong professional coaching and mentorship abilities are essential to support and guide students in their early development.
Job Overview:This position assists and supports the course faculty in the instruction of students in the nursing education program. The role is responsible for classroom and laboratory teaching activities in the assigned course. The successful candidate actively supports an outcomes-based, learning-centered culture through continued professional development aligned with the College’s values and goals. This position reports to and is supervised by the Department Chair.

- Part-time position: 48 hours bi-weekly
- Day shift
- Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse
- Evidence of recognized professional competence
- Working knowledge of the nursing process
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Proven or presumptive scholarship in subject matter field
- 2-3 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 24 months of diversified experience to support effective teaching
- Assist and work under the direction of course faculty/mentor, providing instruction in classroom, clinical, and laboratory settings.
- Coordinate learning experiences with clinical staff.
- Contribute to course planning under faculty/mentor guidance and attend meetings.
- Support departmental operations and goals, serving on committees or task forces as needed.
- Maintain professional competency as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing and job outcomes.
