Position: Student Enrollment Coordinator - IDEA Valley View (Immediate Opening)

Role Overview

The Student Enrollment Coordinator is responsible for achieving campus enrollment and student persistence goals by managing the enrollment process. They plan and execute targeted recruitment strategies, engage with the community, build relationships with prospective and current families, maintain compliance and data integrity, provide customer service, and support families through registration and re‑registration. By promoting IDEA Public Schools, they help build a strong school community and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

Location

This is a full‑time on‑site position located in (Region). Preference is given to candidates who live in (Region) or are willing to relocate.

Travel Expectations
  • Ability to travel up to 80% of the time by car during the busiest parts of the year.
Compensation

Hourly rate ranging between $18.49 and $23.11, based on experience.

Accountabilities Essential Duties
  • Ensure campus enrollment targets are met by the 11th day of school and maintain a solid waitlist after the lottery.
  • Execute student recruitment strategies, attend community events, and conduct off‑site presentations.
  • Organize and conduct cold‑calling campaigns, collaborate on recruitment events, and assist parents with applications.
  • Establish recurring weekly campus tours, send “WELCOME” stream messages, and create monthly recruitment plans.
  • Manage the re‑registration process, follow up with families post‑lottery, and develop a recapture campaign for withdrawn families.
  • Lead Welcome to IDEA orientation planning and provide onboarding for new families and students.
  • Ensure rolling enrollment compliance, fill open seats by waitlist order, and maintain data integrity throughout the process.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work a rotating, non‑traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
  • Required work schedule: 9:00 am‑6:00 pm Tuesday‑Saturday with occasional Sundays and holidays.
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clear motor vehicle record.

  • Required work schedule: 9:00 am‑6:00 pm Tuesday‑Saturday with occasional Sundays and holidays.
Preferred Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • K‑12 education experience.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods.
