Job Overview

The Outreach and Engagement Coordinator has primary oversight of developing, facilitating and supporting student cohorts and programs. This includes planning and overseeing early arrival programs for new students, training mentors and peer facilitators and providing year-around support to the student leaders and program participants.

Essential Functions

* Collaborate with other departments and external partners to produce an Early Arrival Program and leadership camp.

* Support student growth and development by connecting students with internal and external partners and student support resources.

* Provide students with opportunities to develop leadership and programming skills.

* Develop and implement marketing strategies to recruit students and program participants.

* Coordinate and execute necessary student trainings.

* Assist with the development and implementation of strategies to engage students.

* Maintain learning outcomes and implement assessment measures for programs and initiatives.

* Manage operational expenses within an established budget.

* Assist with coordinating student engagement programs and events that foster teamwork, leadership, and interdisciplinary learning.

* Conduct research and other benchmark information to understand all facets of project reach.

* May provide direct and/or indirect supervision for all student workers.

* Assist in efforts to achieve annual SLP office-wide goals.

* Perform related duties based on departmental need.

Required Education

* Bachelor's Degree

* Six (6) years of relevant education, experience and/or other specialized training can fulfill minimum education and experience requirements

Required Experience

* Two (2) years of related experience

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information:
