Overview
Required:
Advanced reading certification (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent) OR Master’s degree in reading instruction. This is an on-site position in Phoenix (Scottsdale), AZ;
Austin, TX;
Fort Worth, TX;
Plano, TX;
Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico.
- Facilitating focused, high-impact reading workshops that strengthen phonics, comprehension, and fluency
- Creating personalized motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance data to improve teaching methods and generate actionable insights
- Partnering with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on real classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-supported content that helps early elementary learners reach grade-level reading proficiency
- Conducting 90-minute lessons or adhering to conventional curriculum—students master academic content through AI-adaptive applications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree in reading instruction OR advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, LETRS, CERI, or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing small-group reading interventions to K–2 students
- Capable of assessing reading levels, forming student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre-written curricula
- Experience with AI/adaptive learning platforms and ability to respond to student engagement patterns within them
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly. For details, please consult
