Cincinnati Urban Promise in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a full‑time Preschool Lead Teacher to provide academic and social‑emotional growth and development for children in care. The position runs Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM with a competitive salary of $36,000 per year and a $2,000 sign‑on bonus paid in installments at 3, 6, and 12 months.

Preschool Lead Teacher Responsibilities and RequirementsAs an early education instructor, you strengthen bonds between parents and children and provide excellent academic programming. You will implement a Christian‑based curriculum that meets each child’s individual, holistic needs. Your role includes creating a safe and loving learning environment, building strong relationships, and integrating cultural and familial values into lesson plans. You will communicate clearly with families and staff, ensuring smooth transitions, progress, and continuous improvement for each child.
- CPL3, CDA, or Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience
- Current certification in First Aid, Common Childhood Illnesses, Child Abuse Prevention, and CPR
- Completion of a medical evaluation
- Passion for children and alignment with our mission
Preferred: bilingual ability. Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, supervision, delegation, and exceptional organizational and time‑management skills are essential.
Must be willing to complete a background check and medical evaluation.
