Overview:
Roger Bacon High School, a Catholic, co-ed high school rooted in Franciscan values, is seeking a full-time Intervention Specialist to join our team. Roger Bacon is committed to developing the hearts, minds, and bodies of its young men and women in a caring and challenging environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting diverse learners and collaborating with faculty to help all students succeed.

Applicants must hold a valid Ohio Special Education Teaching Certificate/License to teach students with disabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with the public school district in the development of students' Evaluation Team Reports (ETR) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Designing and implementing instructional supports and lesson plans for students with diverse learning needs.
• Working within an inclusion model to collaborate with classroom teachers to support student success.
• Assisting with classroom intervention strategies and modifying general education curriculum as needed.
• Supporting students with regular class assignments and organization.
• Communicating regularly with parents/guardians and maintaining positive partnerships.
