Elder High School, an all-boys Catholic high school, is seeking an Assistant Principal/Dean of Students for the 2026-27 school year. Working closely with the Principal, the Assistant Principal/Dean of Students is responsible for the day-to-day management of the student population, with a primary focus on maintaining the safety, security, and well-being of students, faculty, and staff.

Essential Functions

Serve as the primary liaison and point of contact for students and parents, addressing questions, concerns, and disciplinary or attendance matters while collaborating with faculty, counselors, administration, medical personnel, and families to support student success.

Oversee student discipline, attendance, and behavioral expectations by exercising sound and consistent judgment, maintaining records, counseling students and parents, and addressing conflicts both on and off campus in a manner aligned with the values of Elder High School.

Coordinate and communicate school operations through daily announcements, event supervision, bell schedule management, campus security monitoring, and oversight of student parking and school functions.

Supervise Main Office clerical staff, including staffing and performance evaluations, while serving as a member of the Administrative Team.

Support the academic mission of the school by teaching classes as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Secondary Education Administration
• Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience
