ACCEL Schools – P.E. Teacher Position

Mount Auburn Preparatory Academy, Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a passionate and dedicated P.E. Teacher to deliver a superior education for all students and foster a positive learning environment.

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the flexibility to adapt throughout the school year.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and development.
• Utilize research‑based best practices in daily planning and instruction.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment for learning.
• Use school‑approved curricula that reflect diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds.
• Implement school‑wide cultural expectations and norms.
• Communicate with families regarding academic and social‑emotional growth of their child.
• Integrate technology skills into daily classroom practice.
• Participate in planning and implementation of non‑instructional activities as needed.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Active and current Ohio teaching license in the appropriate content area.
• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Comfortable in a growth‑focused coaching environment based on frequent observations, debriefs, action planning, and progress monitoring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to properly manage confidential information.
• Able to supervise students across various settings (playground, cafeteria, etc.).
• Pass federal and state criminal background checks.
• Experience working within an urban environment.

The salary range for this position is $44,000 – $53,500. Factors such as geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications may affect starting pay within this range.
