Allied Health Adjunct Faculty
Job OverviewTeach associate-level courses in introductory health professions, medical terminology, and/or pathophysiology. Faculty will use the course management system Canvas, maintain regular office hours, respond to student communications promptly, and participate in at least one professional development workshop per year. Courses may be offered day or evening, in face-to-face, hybrid or online formats. Teaching is assigned on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. This position is not eligible for visa or green card sponsorship.
EssentialFunctions
- Teach assigned undergraduate courses on a part-time basis.
- Continuously evaluate student coursework using best practices.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all university-related and student communications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an allied health or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of professional work experience within the allied health field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of successful classroom teaching experience in the course content area.
