On a part-time limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member’s primary academic functions include teaching Mathematics and/or Statistics courses to a diverse set of students.

• On a part‑time basis, teach Mathematics and/or Statistics courses at the undergraduate level. Teaching is typically done as part of a team led by a faculty Course Coordinator. Most courses are taught in person on the Uptown West campus.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of his or her responsibilities. These activities include participation in meetings and common tasks when part of a coordinated course team.
• Review, and where necessary, respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.

• Master’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or a Master’s degree in any discipline and at least 18 credit hours of graduate‑level coursework in Mathematics or Statistics.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject.
• Ability to work and collaborate with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

Please include a minimum of a cover letter and resume. In the cover letter, indicate your schedule availability (e.g., mornings, afternoons, evenings) and whether you are willing and able to teach online courses. If your Master’s degree is not in Mathematics or Statistics, include your graduate‑level coursework in these disciplines on your resume.
