Position: Bilingual Student Success & Career Pathways Coach (Spanish/English)

Compensation: $55,000-$70,000 annually (based on experience and schedule)

We partner with schools throughout Southwest Ohio to help students discover their strengths, explore careers, connect with employers, develop life skills, and create meaningful plans for life after graduation.

As our programs continue to grow, we are seeking a passionate bilingual professional who enjoys mentoring young people, building relationships, and helping students gain confidence in their future.

This position is ideal for educators, counselors, workforce professionals, youth development specialists, social workers, or coaches who want to make a direct impact in students' lives.

This position was added in addition to our current bilingual position due to the growing demand from local schools.

What You'll Do

As a Student Success & Career Pathways Coach, you'll work directly with high school students to help them prepare for life after graduation.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet one-on-one with students to discuss career interests, goals, and future plans
  • Assist students with resumes, job applications, interview preparation, and professional communication
  • Facilitate engaging classroom lessons and workshops focused on career readiness, life skills, and employability
  • Support students in exploring pathways such as college, skilled trades, military service, apprenticeships, certifications, and employment
  • Build strong relationships with students, families, school staff, and community partners
  • Help students identify barriers and develop action plans for success
  • Track student progress and maintain documentation
  • Collaborate with LEAD team members to create impactful experiences for students
  • Serve as a trusted mentor and advocate for young people
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to connect with and motivate young people from diverse backgrounds
  • Experience working with youth, students, or young adults
  • Reliable transportation for travel between partner schools in the Greater Cincinnati area
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Business, or a related field
  • Experience facilitating workshops, classroom instruction, or group training
  • Knowledge of career readiness, workforce development, or social-emotional learning practices
  • Experience working with multilingual families and English language learners
