Behavior Support Specialist

Child Focus is seeking dedicated early childhood professionals to serve as a Behavior Support Specialist
. The role involves assisting the Teacher and Assistant Teacher with challenging behaviors, applying early childhood trauma‑informed support and practices in the classroom, and working cooperatively with the Behavior Support Team to provide one‑on‑one classroom support to children across Clermont County.

Child Focus:
Locations will vary between Clermont County locations.

Hours:

Seasonal, full time.

(This position will have orientation on July 27th-29th. And you will tentatively begin full time hours on August 14th.)

Hourly Rate: $23/hour

Preferred candidates will have two years’ experience with children ages birth to five, experience working with challenging behaviors, providing individualized support, and an understanding of behavior management techniques.

Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
