Special Education SUB Para
Responsibilities include:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support and assistance to classroom teachers and students assigned to a team in a K-8 setting.
- Supervise students during recess, lunch, and sensory breaks.
- Record student progress on data sheets, goal sheets, and daily logs to assist the teacher and behavior coordinator.
- Assist with educational classroom needs and student behavior plans.
- Work collaboratively with a school-based team.
Substitutes should be comfortable working with children with autism and related special needs in grades K-8, alone or as part of a co‑teaching team. Subs are expected to maintain classroom health and safety standards, implement pre‑written lesson plans, update children's daily information electronically, and follow the program guidelines.
Urgent Need:
Physical Education paraa long-term assignment through the end of May 2026.
$120.00/day or $130.00 per day for long-term assignments (includes lesson plans, teacher only)
Compensation Frequency:
Semi-monthly on the 15th and 30th of each month
Direct Deposit
This role will require FBI/BCI checks. Linden Grove School will pay for your checks.
