Position RequirementsHorizon Science Academy Cincinnati/Dayton is looking for a School Psychologist to join our team for the 26-27 School Year.
Responsibilities- Assessment & Evaluation:
Conducting multi-factored evaluations (ETR) to identify students with disabilities, academic needs, or behavioral, social-emotional issues. - Intervention & Counseling:
Providing individual and group counseling, implementing school-wide positive behavioral supports, and crisis intervention. - Consultation &
Collaboration:
Partnering with teachers, parents, and administrators to design classroom interventions, academic accommodations, and behavioral management plans. - Data Collection & Analysis:
Using data to monitor student progress, assess school climate, and evaluate the effectiveness of academic/behavioral programs. - Special Education Process:
Playing a key role in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. - Prevention & Advocacy:
Promoting mental wellness, preventing bullying/violence, and providing culturally responsive services to diverse student populations.
- Highly qualified in content area
- Uses data to drive instruction
- Receptive to feedback and desire to grow professionally
- Has the work ethic and desire to go above and beyond
- Highly organized
- Master's Degree
- Valid OH School Psychologist Licensure
- Minimum of 5 years Experience
Compensation packages are competitive and commensurate with experience.
