Seek a professional academic advisor to support first‑year and at‑risk undergraduate students at Xavier University. The role collaborates with faculty and multiple university offices to help students meet academic and co‑curricular goals, plan their progress, select courses, and register.

• Provide individualized, developmental and appreciative academic advising to 200–250 current and prospective undergraduate students, with a specific emphasis on first‑year and at‑risk students.
• Coordinate and oversee communication and outreach, first‑year student onboarding, transfer and special‑population academic services, EAB Navigate, assessment, and training of professional and faculty academic advisors.
• Collaborate with Faculty Advisors, Academic Departments, Career Development, Care and Support, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Life, Thrive, and other university offices.

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, College Counseling, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of relevant experience.
• Intermediate communication, analytical, and project/process‑management skills; computer and technical proficiency; and office administrative support skills.
