Job Overview

Reporting to the Director of Operational Innovations, the Program Manager for International and Graduate Operations provides strategic leadership and oversight for international undergraduate and graduate admissions operations. This role is responsible for supervising the International and Graduate Operations team, ensuring the efficient processing of application materials, and supporting international enrollment initiatives, scholarships, and institutional partnerships.

The Program Manager identifies and implements opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall service delivery within admissions operations. As a key member of the Operational Innovations team, this position also contributes to critical admissions functions, including transcript processing, application record updates (such as major and campus changes, deferrals, and cancellations), admissions decision processing, and the development and continuous improvement of policies and procedures that support the university’s enrollment management goals.

Essential

Functions
  • Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations.
  • Implement policies and procedures.
  • Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports.
  • Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations.
  • May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials.
  • Provide direct supervision to exempt and non‑exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
  • Perform related duties based on departmental need. This job description can be changed at any time.
Required Education
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience.
Additional Qualifications
  • Serve as the Operational Innovations lead representative to the campus community for international undergraduate and graduate application materials processing.
  • Supervise the International and Graduate Operations team, currently consisting of three full‑time staff members.
  • Oversee and implement admissions operations that support international undergraduate and graduate application processing.
  • Serve as the primary processor for graduate application materials.
  • Monitor and ensure team productivity metrics are tracked, maintained, and achieved.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cross‑training, operational efficiency, and strategic planning within the International and Graduate Operations team.
  • Assist in the management and implementation of international undergraduate scholarship programs.
  • Support the development, management, and implementation of existing and prospective international enrollment partnerships and collaborations. Responsibilities may include serving as the primary point of contact for external partners and representing Admissions on committees and task forces.
  • Collaborate with university offices to ensure application, enrollment, and business operations align with partnership expectations and institutional policies.
  • Participate in on‑campus and virtual Admissions events.
  • This is a hybrid position. Staff are currently required to work in‑office one assigned day per week and participate in a designated number of Admissions/Enrollment Management events, including some evenings and weekends. In‑office requirements are subject to change.
