Montessori Lead Guide

Join us as we continue to strengthen our team and partner in vertical and horizontal Montessori program excellence in support of the child's journey. The 6-9 Elementary Lead Guide is an integral member of our 6-12 Elementary program. We are dedicated to Montessori excellence and best teaching practices for each child in the classroom community. The Lead Guide helps direct the students’ activities academically, emotionally, and physically in a Prepared Montessori environment that challenges each of the children to reach their full potential in these developmental areas, in accordance with Montessori philosophy, policies and procedures.

The Lead Guide also works cooperatively with their Assistant to support the Assistant’s understanding of the philosophy and delivery of the Montessori Method.

The Guide’s paramount responsibility is to provide a safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive educational setting for children. The Guide is also responsible for supporting each student’s development by recognizing individual differences and by helping them to live, learn and work cooperatively in a Montessori designed classroom community. We also employ professional support staff who work in tandem to ensure we meet the needs of all our students to the best of our abilities.

Strong staff collaboration, school-wide, and regular communication and partnership with the parent community are key pillars of our mission and outreach.
