SCHOOL COUNSELOR K-6
This role provides academic, social-emotional, and career development support for elementary students K‑6. The counselor promotes a positive school climate and student well-being, provides preventative and responsive services, and assists with early career awareness, goal setting, and long‑term planning.
ResponsibilitiesThe School Counselor K-6 supports academic, social-emotional, and career development of elementary students in alignment with state standards and district policies. The role fosters a positive school climate, promotes student well-being, and provides preventative and responsive services to address individual student needs. The counselor plays a key role in early career awareness, personal goal‑setting, and student planning to support long‑term success.
Qualifications- Master's Degree in School Counseling or a related field.
- Valid Ohio School Counselor License as required by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Experience in K-6 student support services, counseling, or behavioral interventions preferred.
- Valid driver's license or state .
7.75 hours per day, 184 days per school year calendar. Please see attachment for full job description.
