Intervention Specialist – Full‑Time Position School Year

Job DescriptionPurcell Marian High School is a Catholic co‑educational high school in the Marianist tradition that has served a diverse student body since 1928. The school is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School and prioritizes inclusiveness, preparing graduates for post‑secondary professional opportunities.
Purcell Marian seeks an Energetic Intervention Specialist to support students with mild to moderate disabilities, ensuring their academic success and full participation in the school community. The role involves development and implementation of instructional programs, individual education plans, and collaboration with classroom teachers and families.
Position Responsibilities- Establish an effective instructional program for students with disabilities.
- Prepare daily lessons, plan strategies, and activities to meet identified needs, and implement students’ Individual Education Plans (IEP).
- Serve as a resource person for classroom teachers regarding strategies, adaptations, and resource materials.
- Develop a communication system with parents and/or guardians.
- Participate in IEP meetings and IEP development; write goals and objectives for students on the caseload.
- Participate in completing Evaluation Team Reports (ETRs).
- Valid Intervention Specialist (Mild to Moderate) License.
- Citizenship, residency, or work visa required.
