The College of Nursing, Skills and Simulation Lab is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Work Study Student to join our team. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, such as managing check-in and check-out for Open Lab, assisting lab staff with the preparation, staging, and cleaning of labs, and monitoring supplies to notify staff of ordering needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Dependable and reliable Self-directed with strong initiative and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality Ability to execute projects independently and as a member of the Simulation Lab team.
The student position will work within the College of Nursing, located in Procter Hall. Available working hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, flexibility in arriving earlier or later depending on the needs of the lab is necessary. Up to 20 hours/week during fall and spring semesters, based on Simulation Lab needs.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Enrolled at a post-secondary institution or a secondary school. Enrolled at least part-time (one or more credit hours if at a post-secondary institution), except for summer term, or will be a registered student during the next academic term.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Hourly Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour
