Job Overview:
Full‑time faculty position in the Department of Surgery, Section of General Surgery at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
- Conduct basic, translational, and clinical research, including investigator‑initiated and industry‑sponsored studies.
- Mentor residents, fellows, and students in research methods and topics.
- Coordinate sample collection, storage, processing, and analysis per protocols.
- Prepare and submit manuscripts for publication and extramural funding proposals.
- PhD in physiology or a related field from a regionally accredited university.
- Training, experience, and expertise in respiratory care and mechanical ventilation.
- US citizenship.
Rank will be commensurate with experience; an associate or professor appointment requires an appropriate track record in publications and external grant funding.
Physical Requirements / Work EnvironmentOffice environment; no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
