Description: Teacher on Special Assignment - Gifted, 1 FTE

Job Summary: The TEACHER TSA temporarily serves outside the traditional classroom role to support district and building initiatives that enhance teaching, learning, and operational excellence.

This position is designed for project‑based and collaborative work, including curriculum projects, instructional improvement, program development, research and analysis, professional learning facilitation, and district‑wide implementation efforts. This job description applies to many varied situations in which a teacher is placed on temporary assignment outside the normal classroom. The list below should not be considered exhaustive:

• Work Study Coordinator
• SCC Specialist
• 7-12 Gifted Support Advisor
• Behavior Specialist
• K-12 Special Education Academic Coach
• Special Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Teaching License.
• Demonstrated instructional excellence.
• Experience with leadership or project‑based work preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Valid driver's license.

7.75 hours per day, 184 days per school year calendar.

Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based on the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude employment with the district.
