Position Summary

The Youth Development Associate plays a unique and vital role in the educational experience at Cincinnati Urban Promise by supporting students throughout their entire day. During the school day, this position serves as an instructional assistant, working alongside classroom teachers to provide academic support, reinforce instruction, and foster a positive learning environment. During after school and summer programming, the Youth Development Associate transitions into a leadership role, facilitating enrichment activities, mentoring students, and helping create engaging experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom.

This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education, enjoy building meaningful relationships with children, and believe learning happens throughout the entire day-not just during classroom instruction.

By serving in both environments, this position helps create seamless educational experiences that strengthen academic success, social-emotional development, and positive relationships.
