Job Overview

The Department of Operations, Business Analytics and Information Systems (OBAIS) – Information Systems is accepting applications for one or more part‑time adjunct faculty in Information Systems to teach courses in programming frameworks and languages, Dev Ops, database design and administration, ERP-related topics, project management, process modeling, IS security and compliance, business intelligence, data mining, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence systems.
The position is intended to build a pool of qualified instructors; no specific course or semester is tied to this announcement.
- Conduct and teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses and seminars on a part‑time basis.
- Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate their coursework.
- Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of duties.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with the subject.
- Ability to work and collaborate with others.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems or a related field.
