Job Overview
The Carl H. Lindner College of Business, Department of Operations, Business Analytics and Information Systems (OBAIS) – Operations Management – is accepting applications for one or more term adjunct (part‑time) faculty positions in operations & supply chain management. The role includes teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses and seminars in areas such as Introduction to Operations & Supply Chain Management, Lean Six‑Sigma, Project Management, Service Operations, Supply‑Chain Management, Supply Chain Resilience and Security, Procurement/Sourcing Management, Customs Administration, Logistics, and Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Operations & Supply Chains.
EssentialFunctions
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate‑level courses and seminars on a part‑time basis.
- Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate student coursework.
- Engage in activities ancillary to or in support of teaching responsibilities.
- Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex material to students unfamiliar with a subject. Ability to work and collaborate with others. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations Management or a related field.
