We are seeking credentialed and passionate American Montessori Society (AMS) or Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) Toddler and Elementary Lead and Assistant Teachers. Position OverviewWe are looking for dedicated, AMI or AMS-certified Lead and Assistant Guides for our Toddler and Elementary classrooms. You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to authentic Montessori principles, child-led learning, and fostering both academic excellence and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepared Environment: Maintain a beautiful, orderly, and fully equipped Montessori classroom tailored for Montessori developmental stages.
- Individualized Instruction: Observe students and deliver engaging, individualized and small-group lessons across math, language, cultural subjects, and sciences.
- Classroom Leadership: Guide student behavior using peace education; foster a culture of grace, courtesy, and respect.
- Family Engagement: Partner with parents through regular conferences, clear communication, and classroom observations.
- Credential: AMS or AMI Toddler, Pre Primary, or Elementary Diploma
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of lead teaching experience in a Montessori elementary environment preferred.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and a deep understanding of Montessori pedagogy.
