Title I Teacher LTS
Title I Teacher, 1 FTE.
Job Summary: This assignment is for the 2026 - 2027 School Year only. Position is federally funded. The Title I teacher promotes and develops successful students and performs related duties in accordance with Federal Title I guidelines and District policies.
Responsibilities:
- Strong background in teaching reading.
- Teach small groups of children using Title I resources.
- Use a variety of assessments to identify students for placement into the Title I program and to monitor their progress throughout the year.
- Work cooperatively with classroom teachers.
- Confer with teachers and parents regarding student progress.
- Complete all reports and records required by Title I.
- Attend and participate in Title I trainings and meetings.
Qualifications:
- 1-8, K‑8, 4‑9 ELA, PK‑3, Reading Endorsement Licensure.
- Must meet Highly Qualified Status criteria.
Working Conditions: 7.75 hours per day, 5 days per week and 184 days on a school year calendar.
