PositionInstructional Aide
- Special Education / Emotionally Disabled, .875 FTE

- Special Education / ED supports the academic, behavioral, and emotional development of students with emotional and behavioral disabilities under the direction of certified staff. - Fosters a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment through consistent behavioral interventions, individualized instructional support, and collaboration with the school s multidisciplinary team.
- Models appropriate behavior, promotes positive peer interactions, and ensures safe, constructive participation in both general and specialized classroom settings.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Current Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education valid in Lakota Local Schools.
- Successful completion of applicable training (e.g., CPR/First Aid, Crisis Prevention Intervention as required).
- Experience working with students with emotional or behavioral challenges preferred.
7 hours per day, 5 days per week and 184 days based on a school year calendar. Per current Lakota salary schedule, starting at $18.52 per hour plus $1.50 differential per hour based on verified experience.
