Assistant/Associate Professor Tenure Track - Physical Therapy Program

The University of Cincinnati (UC) Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Nutrition Sciences is searching for a full-time tenure-track faculty member who will contribute to the department's research, teaching, and service missions. This is a 9-month appointment with rank commensurate with education and experience. The preferred start date is August 2026 but a later date is possible.

The department is housed in the new Health Sciences Building located on the UC Medical Campus. This position is primarily responsible for advancing a personal research agenda, teaching in relevant content areas, and service to the Department of Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Nutrition Sciences and College of Allied Health Sciences.

Minimum requirements include a doctoral degree, Ohio Physical Therapy license, demonstration of teaching experience, evidence of work toward establishing a defined line of research, recent peer-reviewed publications, record of or potential for future extramural grant funding, and demonstrable plans for continued scholarly activity.

Additional qualifications considered include post-professional doctoral degree, evidence of an active research program, established research agenda, clinical or teaching experience in pediatrics or geriatrics, experience mentoring student research projects, and active involvement in professional activities.
