A contract position is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work full-time with high school-aged students in a 5th/6th grade program near Cincinnati, OH. Candidates should be passionate about creating inclusive, engaging classrooms that support diverse learning needs. You’ll provide instruction, modify curriculum, and work closely with families and staff to help every student reach their full potential. The district currently seeks one special education teacher, with the possibility of a second opening.

• Must hold active Ohio licensure for Special Education.
• Prior experience working with high school or upper elementary (5th/6th grade) students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to tailor lessons and strategies to diverse learners.
• Up-to-date knowledge of IEPs, progress monitoring, and compliance procedures.

• Develop and implement effective IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to each student’s needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Communicate regularly with families and colleagues to support student success.
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
